Stefan Dietze is a professor of Data & Knowledge Engineering at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf and Scientific Director of the department Knowledge Technologies for the Social Sciences at GESIS in Cologne. His research includes mining and interpretation of large amounts of heterogeneous data, in particular from the Web, using methods at the intersection of natural language processing, machine learning, and information retrieval.

Dimitar Dimitrov is a postdoctoral researcher at the department Knowledge Technologies for the Social Sciences at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences (Cologne, Germany), leading the team Information Extraction and Linking. Dimitar was a visiting researcher at the Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria, and at the eXascale Infolab at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.

Sebastian Schellhammer
Sebastian Schellhammer is a doctoral Student at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences since 2022, working on scientific online discourse using NLP and ML methods. Before, he completed his Master’s degree in Information Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
